I love it Dave. I had to keep clicking the horse just to work out how many versions you have put in :D

Thanks Barry.
There are three but after they play in order they play randomly. The eye blink is random too. :D

Great showreel!
BTW, What's meant by "Tyranny of the vector"?

Hi 3dguy.
Now that is a good question. Basically I mean bitmaps are a much freer and faster way of working. Far too many years of vectors and clients that want tiny details have left me with RSI in my wrist. Clients also want your master files so they can build new illustrations without having to pay. That has been a bit of a battle especially with falling budgets.
It is also a bit of a thrill to have done something that doesn't look like it was done in Flash. People nowadays seem to respond much better to things that look a little more hand crafted.
and finally...I was a bit excited as I haven't done any oil type painting before :D

Your work includes animation tricks you've developed. Coke and Pepsi don't have to divulge trade secrets. Why should animators? Thanks for the 'heads up'.
