The Universe is Beautiful...

Post by Hopper200456 »

Hey guys!
It's me again! (Don't act too disappointed!)

I just finished my newest animation, The Universe is Beautiful.
I had a lot of fun making this one, so I hope it's fun to watch.
Enjoy!

(I recommend watching this on youtube, as the player is really small!)

Look at that WIIIIIIDE SCREEEN!

Very clean work with the photos, the lighting effects were handled beautifully.

Yeehaa! Awesome!

The first thought that popped into my head...

Ken Burns last documentary, when he is finally ready to retire, will be called "The Universe" and will simply encompass every possible documentary that could ever be made making him the king of documentaries. ;)

Thank you!!

The lens flair was actually done in another program, though I bet you could make one in AS by getting a group layer, and adding a bunch of different colored circles in it. You could make them transparent, and give them a colored halo (or gradient) to get that a softer shinier look. Then you could give each circle a different Z value, so moving the group folder would give it the same sort of effect. It would take a lot of work to make it look like a real one, though.
