Re: Goat Herd and the Gods
Thank you! this is the first time I have really done any animation work, been trying to learn Anime Studio for about a year now
Re: Goat Herd and the Gods
Looks great, especially the walk cycles! Are those used throughout the game? It feels like a shame that they look so nice and are only briefly shown in the animation.
Re: Goat Herd and the Gods
Too slow.
Let's take 24 frame per second.
Try this:
Walk at your normal pace. Time the walk and count the steps. You should find that you walk at one cycle per second. Or 24 frames for one cycle. Some people it's 18 or a little faster. Or 26 and slower walk.
Your animation is about 48 frames for one cycle.

Sorry, you are correct! I only render out 24 of the frames in the game, as I noticed this after playing around for a bitdueyftw wrote:Too slow.

Wow, I see Adventure Games Studio is still thriving. I played around with this years ago. Maybe I'll look into it again.
Good work on your game. The graphics look really good.

You might want to look into Stitches https://draeton.github.io/stitches/ for your sheeting element. looks great.

I love point and click adventure games. I will probably play your game. be sure and post here when it's done.
I have always thought it would be cool to make a Nick and Will adventure game. I've known about adventure game studio and have played an handful of games made with it.
And I have made games using RPG Maker so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for me to use Adventure Game Studio, We'll see...
Anyways your Animations are very good.

Re: Goat Herd and the Gods
Very fun Animating walking sequences has been surprisingly hard for me to figure out. The background slows down at the end when it's not supposed to for some reason...
