Hi all!
Still working on my character creator but I'm always fiddling with trying new ideas and figuring stuff out and I thought I'd share with you a small animation and also include the AS file so you can see how I did it. This is a body turn of Batman from front view to 3/4 behind view. Now I need to mention I DID NOT create this artwork!!!! This is by a character artist by the name Phil Bourassa. If your into DC animation you've defiantly seen his work before. I used his artwork because he has a model sheet on his deviant art page the shows a front view, 3/4 view, side view and a 3/4 behind view. Using these 4 pictures I simply parted the character out and used some masking to make a bone to manipulate what looks like a pretty decent body turn! I'm sharing this ONLY as a learning tool and so others here can dissect how this is done. Hopefully this will help anyone who wants to do a body turn with a somewhat complex character.
