Silent Night

Post by ianmage1 »

Every year, I make a Christmas animation, but I only share them with family and friends, because the animations are always rushed and I'm not all that proud of them. But, this year, my Christmas animation turned out differently.
I made this in 4 days--extremely rushed, yes--and I exported the latter half of it last night without a single rendering problem, which is a Christmas miracle in itself. I know it's not the most dynamic animation, but, for just how rushed it was, I'm pretty happy with the final product. Additionally, I used my own recording of Silent Night played on my Native American Flute, so I'm proud of that.

Anyways, Merry Christmas!

Wow, amazing! I think my computer would die if I tried anything like that.

Very nice! I love how peaceful it is.

As a side note, I do prefer your previous character eye style. The new style makes the character look really agitated/frenetic which generally doesn't seem to fit your work.

It's Christmas, Theo, it's the time of miracles! So be of good cheer and call me when you hit the last lock.

Anyway, this was outstanding! Nothing about it seems rushed at all; rather the reverse. Great work!

It's funny, I was told this on my last post as well, and I had never even noticed the difference, myself. I guess I just unintentionally animated the eyes differently... I'll make sure to revert the eye style back to the norm the next time I animate the character. Thank you.

Wow that's amazing! I can't believe you did this with Anime Studio, I've never seen one in that program that looks this good! :D
