before you get too hooked on the name - there's 2017 TV series named that - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7267436/?ref_=nv_sr_1 … usual caveats about the potential for challenges if the current users take offence at your usage...

Here in the US, copyright protections don't extend to titles or names (or ideas, as mentioned earlier). Titles can be trademarked but that covers a different area of protections.

For example, if I were to take that title and make essentially the same exact TV show, that's clearly plagiarism and I'm almost certain to hear from their lawyer. If, however, I used the title for a comic strip about, say, two cats and a toddler, I'm pretty sure I'd be in the clear. That doesn't mean I won't hear from their lawyer anyway, but there really isn't a legal case there. (Unless...Guilty Party happens to be a TV show about two cats and a toddler, in which case, I'm potentially in trouble if I make that comic strip.) :)

Parody is an interesting exception. In a parody, you can make something nearly identical to another work but it has to be clearly satirical in intent. Just to be safe, that's why you often see 'an unauthorized parody' as part of the parody's title these days. It's not necessary but some lawyers can be humorless and you really need to spell it out for them.

I guess an exception to that might be a parody of a parody. Don't know why anybody bothers to go there but it happens. :)

It's also assumed that a parody will be a 'one-shot'. If you keep revisiting the original work over and over again, that may be considered exploitation and you're probably asking for trouble.

Unless...the original work happens to be in the public domain of course. That's why there are so many different productions of Beauty and the Beast. Speaking of which, check out the beautiful French-German (2014) version of the film on Netflix. This is not a parody btw, but rather another interpretation of the same original work that the Disney (2017) version is based on. I was surprised to see both the Disney version and this version of the film were made so close to each other, but it's all legal. (IMO, the French-German version is a much better film.)

Oh of course.. I never thought of anything original... I should have assumed it was gone.

I did think of something original once... a little bit of chindogu ...
I try to think one up on a regular basis, I normally forget them soon after... here's one I can't forget.
TIme to announce it methinks.

I call it 'Stone in your Shoe'
Take an inner sole and place a therapeutic feeling maze in it.
A hard rubber ball is placed at the start of the maze.
The ball can't fall out but runs along the maze track.
Place the inner sole in your shoe, the lump of the ball is super annoying.
As you walk or sit, you have to wiggle your foot around to try and work that ball to drop into the 'sweet spot' solving the maze and relieving the discomfort.
Ahh... heaven!
Makes a great gift for those who have everything.
Marketing includes a fun dance, I think you can imagine that.

Sildenafil is the name of a chemical synthesised by Pfizer. It's used in pills sold under brand names such as Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.

In the spirit of Monty Python... 'I'd like to apologize for the following animation'

"Animation is not the art of drawings that move but the art of movements that are drawn."
