Here's the video on NoFatClips.com

I've received a few comments that the video's creepy. Ha ha, never intended it to be creepy but maybe it is kind of.

The one thing I want to see how you did is the intro ( theme song) to that. I love the hills moving... how'd ya do it?

It was actually pretty straightforward in theory.

Each hill is on its own layer, and each layer is at varying depths in the Z axis (depth).

Then I set a keyframe for the camera at frame 1, and then much later down the timeline set another keyframe where the camera had physically moved over the hills. (Not just zoomed but moved through the Z axis.)

Its like in a 3D-ish space kind of thing.

Storyboarded a whole second episode. Its kinda fun, but wonder if its just standard fare. Pretty weird, but I think I could probably push the weirdness a bit further.

This story involves a Happy Lander going to the Moon, meeting an alien, bringing him back to Happy Land and then the alien chows the Happy Lander's buddies (and spits them out afterwards), with funny-ish gags and weird interactions happening along the way. I'd put it into an animatic, and still might, but would rather have something that's a bit different and new.

In other news I managed to get a pair of Anaglyph (red/blue) 3D glasses from my buddy. I rendered out some of the intro in Stereo 3D. It looks pretty awesome with the glasses ha ha. The mountains and stuff comes out right at me. Sweet.

Was kind of interesting hey? Haven't really seen Anaglyph stereo rendering used with AS.

Anyways, started sketching out a scene for the next story I have. I think I may not do it with vectors and more with .PNG files. Not comfortable enough with Toon Boom's software to use the drawing tools, though it'd probably be easier (and I'd need to buy the program). Also haven't tried TV Paint which I imagine might be quite good for this kind of thing. ALSO, think I might do it properly this time with an animatic and not make the mistake of skipping this step.

I like the sketch look. It adds a different style with your current style. Hope that makes since. ;)

Ha ha thanks. Well, its a lot quicker than the first style I used. And more expressive. Here's the animatic I've made for this ep:

I see I need to make the Alien respond to the song early on for the story at the end to make sense...thanks animatic.
