are there alternatives to papagayo?

Post by skygaz3r »

if i use papagayo its buggy as hell... is there any programm that acutally does exactly the same and works find with AS?
in my case there is just so much not working with papagayo that it drives me nuts... the idea is to make things easier but
it costs me so much time to get things running. maybe it´s just something with my computer settings or whatever but unti
now every program was doing fine on my computer.

sometimes papagayo just crushes random when i want to save a file.
if i import dat-files in AS9 then i dont have any sound and only the mouth movement. i add the sound file afterswards
but that is a step that i want to avoid.
even if i added the dat-file with the mouth movement, i cant add a extra dat-file cause then AS just stars doing weird
things with the keyframes for the mouth. its like it mixes up just random keyframes for my mouth switch layer.
sorry, my english isn't good ;(

If I need to I use Papagayo with no problems - do you have the latest version?
I must admit I often find working directly within Anime Studio better though.

You could try Yolo or Magpie Pro

I'm running Papagayo on my MacBook Air, running Moutain Lion (believe it or not); you can get it working if you download the last Windows build and use Wineskin Winery to create a wrapper.

Just scrub the audio in AnimeStudio itself and switch the layers where needed. Much better then any outside app. ;)
