Swiss Army Bones

Post by mkelley »

This script has been around a long time (almost two years now) but I thought I had better post a link to it here before it goes away (in May Dropbox is changing its policies and I don't at this point in time intend to update my links to reflect it).

If you want it you can get it on the AnimatorsForum.com (free, no strings attached). It works in *most* versions of Moho (there's a tiny anomaly I need to address in Moho 12 where if you have auto-freeze keys on and try parenting/unparenting tool it kind of creates a weird key. I'll fix today, though, but in the meantime you can just turn this off if you are using the parent/unparent part of the tool. But that's a VERY tiny part of what it can do).

(Not sure why the Youtube embed doesn't work on this forum but I don't care to try and find out).

Ah, I see (just the YouTube reference).

Works quite a bit different than our forum (or any others I've been on). Thanks!

Swiss Army (or is it Swiss Arnie?) bones is my go to tool for character travel...
It beats the additive cycle hands down for flexibility and usefulness.
Thanks Mike for this, I couldn't work without it.
I really would like this tech to be in the program proper, I fear ( but love) every software update and the chance of this getting broken by code changes.

Don't worry, Chucky -- as long as I'm alive this will continue to work no matter what the updates (because it's my own go-to tool).

I *think* I'm gonna outlive Moho updates.

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
