Using particles to paint

This is a totally incomplete test, but I had this idea today and really wanted to show the concept here

Basically, we can use particles to paint. There are 5 particle layers here. They simply move some strokes from left to right:

Then the vector layers from each particle are distorted by a mesh.
So there are 5 meshes, one for each particle.

It's not visible in this gif, but over all that there is another mesh which distorts all the other meshes. That allows to animate the face (and make the character blink, turn the head, etc)

I don't know which is spookier -- the particles crawling around Vincent's face, or seeing him smiling like some sort of simpleton! I have never thought of using particles to paint with, so kudos to you Victor, once again!
