Circular arrows
I need to create many circular arrows to indicate angular dimensions like this:
Currently I first create a circle and then I draw the arc arrow over it, but I wonder if there is a simpler way in AS 9 Pro.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Circular arrows
I'd combine a full circle with a mask that has an open vector. Arrowhead on top.

Re: Circular arrows
you also can use a circle and animate it using stroke exposure. For the point, you can make a new layer with it and use follow path (with "rotate to follow path" checked in the layer proprieties).

Thank you very much.
Re: Circular arrows
Hi selgin,
I followed your suggestion but I have some difficulties to link the point symbol (triangle) to the path, the problem is that the triangle does not exactly follow the circle but it follows a distorted circle:
What am I doing wrong?
Also, when I activate the Follow Path command, AS9 says: Click on a path to follow, and drag to set the position on the path (hold <Alt> to bend layer). However when I click on the circle to set the path I have no evidence that I correctly selected the right path. Is this normal?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Circular arrows
Also, I’m not able to extend the exposure beyond the original lower point of the circle, what’s wrong?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: Circular arrows
Much easier to place the origin of that arrow layer at the center of your circle, then just rotate the layer!

Re: Circular arrows
Ok, thanks slowtiger.
What about the impossibility to extend the exposure beyond the lower point of the circle?

Re: Circular arrows
It is a feature request already postponed to a later version. You should rotate the layer around the center of the circle. A bone place there might help.georox wrote:Ok, thanks slowtiger.

Re: Circular arrows
Hi Genete,
it is strange because I have another circle (curve 1 layer below) and in that circle the exposure extension works fine.
