First Animation: South Park

Post by mtbuck24 »

This is the first animation I ever did in Anime Studio. I chose something that is really popular and is very easy to animate... South Park! A lot of people think it's an insult to animation (I personally don't care for the show myself). But this was me combining all things that I learned in anime studio so far like: Bone movement, Change shape color, switch layers, translate layer, and pretty much animate in general.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks!

More like an insult to intelligence.

Anyway, for the content, it looks very good and true to the show.

insult to animation...insult to intelligence? Oh come on boys. Give Southpark a little more credit than that. They do a lot with little and are written by satirical geniuses. And besides, have you seen the episodes where they change up the animation style? They can do it. It's well within the power of their team, but for the most part, they choose style over technicality which should be appreciated.

But whatever. Not important.

For Cartmans walk, you may want to slow the bouncing down, he moves really fast, and it looks like it's in fast forward motion. Aside from that, I'd say you nailed it right on the head.

When it deserves it, I will. In other words, I never will.

I like South Park.

My Very 1st animation. I am a die hard player of Everquest and Sony's lack of upgrades is the reason I made this. Most people will not get the joke but most gamers will and the peeps on the Everquest forums loved it. I voiced all the character and this is truly the 1st thing I have ever done in animation or any editing of any type. I think it was done in Moho before AS 6 was released.

I could go back and remake this but I like it to remain like this it remind me of what I thought was good and really is good.

Sorry for bad animation
