Switch Layer interpolation question

Post by Pesto »

I have only limited experience with Switch layers. I am debating whether to use a bone dial or switch layer and I want to be able to control the interpolation. It seems with the Switch layer it automatically interpolates if you check the box in the switch layer panel. But there seems not way to adjust it if you want. On the other hand, with a bone dial, I can control the interpolation in the motion editor (via bone rotation). Am I correct or am I missing something with Switch layers?

Thanks fro reading

If I understand your question correctly, yes a switch layer interpolation is only linear. Bone dials can use any type of interpolation.
