My First Animation Post

Post by voxac50 »

After much time spent exploring how things work within anime Studio, and with some much needed help from the Support Forums, I am finally posting a video. I's drawn entirely with the ASP drawing tools, and mainly uses point binding, smart bones, and switch layers. The style, such as it is, is influenced by 50's Romance and Sci-fi comic books. Here it is.

Well, that looked great! I love that 50's comic-book style, and you captured it perfectly. The girl looked very natural too -- I imagine that was a lot more difficult than it looks! Bravo; and welcome to the lostmarble forum!
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

Love that "Archer"-style. Minimalist movements, just perfect. Make a whole short in this fashion, with a good story, and raid the festivals!

Oh yeah, the 50's look is there. Somewhere there's a guy with a briefcase wearing a fedora. Nice work. :)

That is great - one of the strengths of Anime Studio is the smooth inbetweening, so you could make the movements less snappy and it would still look good, possibly even better.

Please make more!
