CartoonMonkey's Stuff

Post by cartoonmonkey »

I though I'd start posting my experiments here, as to not clutter up the board!

This was my breakthrough year with Anime Studio. Just in the last few days, I think I I've gotten it! I think I finally understand how to use the software fully and get the results I need without being overly frustrated. Just a heck of a lot of fun when you have the characters set up the right way. I constantly experiment with animation, and I love noodling around in Anime Studio, so I'll post my little experiments here. And a big thanks to everyone on the boards who jump in to help out people with questions, like myself!

This first one is perhaps my most complicated character to date, put together the 'right' way. He needs arms and a mouth - maybe some other expressions, but I was amazed how many expressions I could pull out of simple body movement and eyeblinks / eyelids. Smart bone dials just RULE!

Here's another little face test rig. Maybe sometime I'll try a character with more than one eye...!
