one subject per month. Is it not too short for high participation ?
However, i hope to show something in January as a beginner.

exobunker, how long do you think they should be?
Maybe a month isn't long enough for some, but I guess it gives you more chance of winning :)
I have thought about an annual competition before. Would that be of more interest to you?

Well, I thought every 2 months( more time to draw from the date we know the theme).
But may be your are right for each month. It can be short for some people (like me). However, i have seen that there are many animations each month in compétition.
So i will try to participate.

I did not really understood the rules for voting.
I put stars on the lastest submissions (tiger compétition) and voted for both.
How it is possible to vote twice :?:

exobunker, thanks for voting. Please login to the site, then go to this page and you'll see who you've voted for: http://www.animestudiotutor.com/shared_ ... ion/?id=26
You can vote for one, or all of them if you wish. (Voting for all obviously won't really help though).

The 'stars' are for all shared items and are for rating the quality of the shared file. You can see the ratings used in the listings:

I’ve had to extend this month’s competition theme as I only had one entry last month :(

But the good news is Smith Micro have confirmed they are willing to support my annual competition award again this year, and are going to give the winner a free copy of Anime Studio Pro! - thanks again Smith Micro!

Entries for the award are selected on merit (not votes) from all the competition entries entered between 1st April 2015 and 30th April 2016.

Last year Garry Woods won with his animation Ingenius Iguana: http://www.animestudiotutor.com/shared_files?id=155
The other entries can be seen here: http://www.animestudiotutor.com/shared_ ... ards/2015/

There's still time to be considered for this award, all you need to do is enter this month’s competition which has the theme of "Vain Vulture".
The animation only has to be 10 seconds, so it shouldn't take you too long - and if you win, you'll also get a $20 Amazon voucher.

Note: If you don't have a copy of Anime Studio, you can use the free 30 day trial version to enter.

Thanks for your support - and good luck!

I've just had confirmation from Smith Micro that they'll be sponsoring this year's annual competition award again!
So if you want to win a free copy of Moho Pro then please enter this month's competition. The theme is 'cars'.
+ If you win this month's competition, you will also get a $20 Amazon voucher from me.

This will be the third year now.

At the end of the month, I'll select my favourite 10 entries from all the entries over the past year, and submit them to Smith Micro. They'll then choose the winners.

Last years winners can be seen here: https://www.animestudiotutor.com/shared ... ards/2016/

Assuming that you already have MoPro (and you win), does that mean that you get a free upgrade to the next incarnation?
Moho 14.1 » Win 11 Pro 64GB » NVIDIA GTX 1080ti 11GB
Moho 14.1 » Mac mini 2012 8GB » macOS 10.15 Catalina

Smith Micro have just replied - If you win the competition, and you don't mind the wait, then they can offer a free upgrade to 13! They also said, if you own a copy of Moho 12 and don't want another copy, then an alternative prize of either Poser Pro or Clip Studio Pant EX will be offered.

The competition ends at the end of the month, more details here: https://www.animestudiotutor.com/shared ... mpetition/

Exciting news! Smith Micro have offered a free copy of Moho Pro as the prize to this month's competition!
Normally, a prize this big is only awarded in the Annual Competition Award.
The average entry numbers have been less than a dozen for some time, so please have a go if you can - you've got a good chance of winning!
The theme this month is: 'The Snowman'.
Entries must be in before the end of the month.

Good luck!
