Hello,
I'm trying to use the Offset Bone Tool.
I create the "exploded" parts on one layer, each with bone/s.
I use the Offset Bone Tool to put them in the desired configuration... but when I drag them, the artwork distorts: typically, one point lags behind.
I've faffed around with this for ages* - using info from various sources - but cannot stop the distortion.
What am I doing wrong, please?
[Is anything easy?]
* Including reducing bone strength, switching to region binding, art on separate vector layers...

Re: Offset distortions
It sounds like you accidentially bound that point to another bone alreday. Try "Release Layer and Points" from the menu.
Or it might be that your bone influence is so small it doesn''t include that part of the artwork, adjust and try again.

Re: Offset distortions
Many thanks.
1) Release layer and points... unfortunately, now I can only drag the bones with the Offset Bone Tool. The artwork doesn't move with it.
2) Increase bone influence... unfortunately, it now distorts much worse.

Re: Offset distortions
It seems ONLY to work with Region Binding on, rather than Flexi Binding.
Perhaps that's the answer...
YES it is!
