My latest animation

Post by Furpuss »

I found some funny dialog about an old hippie reminiscing about the old days so I decided to animate him.

Nearly perfect. Maybe a bit too smooth, too stoned?

That was amazing! This is one of the best animations I've seen in Anime Studio yet. Keep it up! :D

Thanks, slow tiger. Your observation about the smooth timing is very astute. Yes, I think the timing could be better with snappier timing. Maybe I'll have another go at it.

That had to be FBF! That's classic animation. I watched it repeatedly.

Actually, the only part of it that was FBF was the mouth. The rest of it was bones and stretch & squash.

I thought your animation of the head was 'off the chart' because, in addition to its expressiveness, it nodded up, down and from side to side. I kept thinking "Wow, that's amazing!" That is rare in 2D animation.

haha love it! And the animation looks amazing! You didn't use frame by frame on the head angles?

Thanks! The head was a smart bone action. Just the mouth was FBF.
