I was thinking about using 2D character animated in Anime Studio, then export the animation as a .PNG images sequence,
then use this sequence into Unity3D (as a sprite), to take advantages of 3D scenery, camera, lights, shadows and like.
So, not for making a game, but simply makes "2.5D" video.
Has anyone tried something like that? It is a pain in the arse to use sprites in Unity3D?
I never used Unity3D for now, but if the idea makes sense, I might start to use it soon!
Unity3D for animation: might be worth a try?
