Can the Axis Point Add an Animation Function?

Post by sheboy »

When an animation is finished, once the pivot is moved, the previous animation is wrong.

A layer's origin (pivot point) isn't keyframeable so, yes, moving it will affect existing animation.

To work around this, place the elements inside a group and move the origin of the group. Now you can animate from either the original layer's origin or the group's origin.

An animateable layer origin is a common request. Hopefully, the devs will add this feature in the future.
