No Mucking around... love it. SUre TB CSP and even Moho can do this stuff, but these guys are going FAST with grease pencil improvements, and it's so fluid.
I can see so much enthusiasm from their devs and users that this feature will no doubt explode, I can't wait to see what happens.

Yeah, it's the speed of development and enthusiasm, not to mention the constant communication with their user base. That last point puts Moho to shame.

Created 2d Fire
Using Blender 2.8 compositing, I was able to create a really nice 2d fire effect. I discovered this technique by following a really helpful video tutorial which can be found Here.

I managed to build and rig a character in blender 2.8 using grease pencil and bones. I'm quickly falling in love with the workflow, it's incredibly powerful and ingenious in its design.

Very nice dkwroot,
Funny, I've been using Moho today while watching grease pencil you tubes.
Tell me, do you know any way to assign a material to a GP stroke, like we can with brushes in Moho?
Edit: actually I think I've found it... haven't seen results yet, maybe I'll give it a go later.

You can assign materials to strokes by going into edit mode and selecting the points that make up the stroke. The easiest way to do this is to select just one point in the stroke then press "L" which will select the entire stroke. Then go to the materials tab and click on a material that you want to use. Then press "assign" and it'll assign that material to the selected stroke.

Cheers I think that was almost a simultaneous post as my edit.
I'm definitely exploring the pros/cons and development of this feature.

Eeek, not much fun to use yet.
I'm always disappointed by Blender's UX/ UI grease pencil definitely needs potty training.
The team making Hero must have had a good deal of training and preparation as GP is the least fun drawing experience I've ever had.

Grease pencil gets some potty training ,with textures now, similar to the Moho Vector tool in some ways

I can see what you mean about acting like Moho brushes, especially at the end when he rotates the layer in 3D.

That VR sketch 3D drawing is brilliant! Why spend ages perfecting a head turn if you can just sketch it right out... Moho is getting left behind.
