However the Bones from bone & switch group "Bones switch" are NOT visible in all descendant layers. They are only visible to child "Group 2". In reality it appears that the bones are still functional / selectable via the "Select Bone" tool / menu combo, and can be point and flexi-bound in the other descendant layers. But can't see a way to Layer bind.
Maybe there is some logic or usefulness to this that I am missing?
