By the way, to extend the marker dragging it it's not alt+right-click, but alt+left-click.

Right-click on any keyframe or marker to open a panel and there below many options you have one to choose a color. In spanish the option is called "Etiqueta" that means "Tag" I'm not sure why, maybe an error on the translation.

If you change the Hold Duration on a Document Wide Marker it will color the timeline.
