Fatal Error Moving to New Mac

Okay, end of my rope now. "A fatal error occurred loading the application" with a report of Error -7089.

MacOS Monterely version 12.0.1

M1 Pro Chip

I've scoured my Library files for anything and everything Smith Micro and Lost Marble, removed and trashed many preferences and application support items. Restarted. Removed program and reinstalled. No luck at all, again and again no luck.

Does anyone have a clue? I've seen earlier postings on this but after my scouring of the Library, I'm completely frustrated here.

That's the new mac OS. Did you just install Monterey, or had it been working fine with Moho and something new just happened?

I'm wondering if upgrading to the new OS caused the problem... (and I've turned of my Mac OS auto-updating until we figure this out.)

I actually got a new Macbook Pro, so Monterey was installed already. I used an uninstaller just now and found a few other items it wanted to remove (after I tried to reinstall once again) but even after emptying trash and restarting I'm in the same position. So Monterey may be an issue? I'll hold tight, and file a bug report as well with support just in case they have some feedback.

Have you tried deleting and launching the "Lost Marble" folder in this location?
/Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Lost Marble

You are a genius. The App Cleaner wouldn't find it (probably because it was actually on old Smith Micro thing), and I had overlooked Users Shared Library over Library and my login library. Thank you!!

And so far, it works great on Monterey… better than it did on the Intel chip from what I can see

I had the same trouble and was helped by Lost Marble's support.
I'm glad your problem was solved!

I'm still using an Intel Mac ... I want an M1 Mac soon!
