I just uploaded my lipsync script to mohoscripts
Hi everyone,
I just uploaded my lip sync script to mohoscripts.com (love that site )
Here's a video description (it's linked on the sight too)
This is not a new script, but I still use it all the time. It's just that with mohoscipts.com, I've finally had a chance to upload it.
Here's a thread on it.

You can get it here

I hope it's helpful to others.

Hey Strider,
This is just a wonderful script. I've been using it since its inception. I'm happy to see that you make it available for Moho 13.5. Just a brilliant work.
Thank you for your effort and generosity,
Cheers and happy animating,
LG

Thanks teotoon. I'm glad it's been helpful. I know it makes it easier for me to do lipsync

That's a very clever strider2000! I'm impressed that you made your system flexible enough to work with many different mouth control setups.

Hi Strider2000,
From the script description at Moho Scripts: "The msLipSyncReadme.txt gives detailed information about the script and how to use it."
I was checking out the script and noticed that this file is missing from the .zip package. Just letting you know.
Thanks for sharing this script!

Re: I just uploaded my lipsync script to mohoscripts
Thanks Greenlaw.
Sorry everyone for the issues When I uploaded, I dragged several files to be uploaded, but it seems there were 2 issues.
- The site seems to want one lua file per upload.
- The site seems to no allow .txt files
So to fix it I've done the following:
- I uploaded the msPhonemes.lua file separately and linked to it. It downloads now.
- Instead of uploading the readme file, I added it to the description.
- Since I don't know how to upload a text file, so it can be put in the utility directory, I just added it to the description and added some notes. Unfortunately people will need to just cut and paste the text into a file called "lipSync.txt" in the scripts/utility directory. It's needed for characters with bone controlled mouths. If you're lip synching a character with switch layers, it will work if that files not there, but you'll see an error message You'd just have to close it.
I hope that helps everyone.

You might not be ready to use more complicated scripts, bud.

Re: I just uploaded my lipsync script to mohoscripts
Wow, this script appeared just as I was about to do a whole bunch of lip sync.
I'm having a little trouble getting it to work. I scrub with the tool, like in the tutorial video. But I'm getting this lua error:
/msPhonemes.lua:110: 'for' limit must be a number
I'm on a Mac. I only use switches for mouth shapes, and every mouth-phoneme is in a folder (because of masks). This is the text file I made for the utility folder. Is it correct? I hope I can get this script working; it'll be a huge time-saver.

Re: I just uploaded my lipsync script to mohoscripts
The text file you describe will not work. It must be named lipSync.txt, it must be in the utility folder, but the more important point is that it's not for switch layers (even though it must exist). It's for bone controlled characters and it must follow the format specified in the description. Since you're not currently using bones to control the mouth, I advise that you copy the text, starting with Scarlett 2, exactly as shown in the description, under the installation section.

Thanks! It works now.
Also, I had forgotten to enter the words in the text box. Oops.
Awesome script!

Re: I just uploaded my lipsync script to mohoscripts
Hi guys,
I've installed the script mentioned here for lip syncing and the tool shows up and the scrub works, but.. I get an error message as such:
msPhonemes.lua:110 'for' limit must be a number
Working on a Mac
was wondering if Strider or anyone else on the forum had an idea of how to fix this, seems like it would be a great script to run.
Thanks
