moho won't run

it runs on every other pc in the house but mine. I just bought it last week for my son. the debut version. He's 8 with autism and very smart but if he has an issue I've got to help so I thought I'd learn the program and put it on my pc too. its win 10 decent gaming pc. it runs in safe mode but in normal the wheel turns for a minute and never pops up. I've removed all but the basic windows virus protection, did a msconfig startup with nothing but the bare min startup no good. compared my tasks to a pc that runs and end tasked everything different and still no dice. I'm stumped.
