My first Moho animation!

Post by kenchtahm »

Hey all!

I wanted to share the first finished animation I created in Moho. I learned a lot on this one, and can see just how much I have to learn moving forward!

(I'm not sure how to link to a YouTube short on here, the youtube code doesn't seem to work for those)

Ha ha! Your animation is cute and funny! Well done, kenchtahm. Thanks for sharing it!

BTW, the embed works. You need only the end part of the link: w6S1qoqpPTE. Select that and click on the youtube button to embed the movie so it looks like this...

I am well impressed with that for your first animation in Moho. I am guessing that is not your first animation in general though? :D

Great little animation, very impressive! I especially liked the thief's opening movements behind and between the pillars, it really makes the feel of depth in the scene stand out.

Thanks everyone!

And no, this isn't my first animation, Karl Toon -- I've been working in Flash/Animate, After Effects, and various 3D animation software for about 20 years (oh no, I'm old!)

Thanks for the tip on the link, Greenlaw!

I'm hoping to make a whole series of animations in this style, but also got swept up in some of the recent layoff periods in the industry, so I'm going to start playing with some more "traditional" character designs next to help build up my reel. This forum has been a great place for inspiration for me!

This had the feel of a frame by frame animation. Impressive.
