Red Dots on Switch Layers

Is there a way to keep the Red Dot (For Flash Optimization) in Vector Layers inside Switch Layers?

No matter what i do even a simple vector shape, with no animation or anything, when placed into a switch layer will lose its Red dot. Whats going on? does a switch layer immediately de-optimize its sub-layers?

Im struggling to make my files lighter for swf export and that Dot is driving me crazy!

Ha! Solved my own problem right after posting (typical).

Seems I had the 'interpolate switch layer' box ticked.
Unticked it an voila! the red dot came back.

Oh well maybe it will help someone else.
