This looks interesting, but could you explain some of its uses? I'm not sure why you'd want to export a video from Papagayo. :?

HAHAHAHA.... kind of racist site!

"This file is not available to free users in China and Southeast Asia. To download it and any other DivShare file, sign up for a DivShare Personal account for just $9 / year!"

At least they can access it for (almost) free. Some US sites will not allow downloads ouside their borders at all. Are THEY being racist? Discuss.
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

I apologise for the inconvinience,
I didn't know it wasn't availlable for free to everyone.

I uploaded it to rapishare, here is the link

http://rapidshare.com/files/119162640/p ... h.rar.html

and here is a link to a sample video clip, exported through Avisynth
and converted to a regular avi with VirtualDub

It was a user request on the blog.

They should not put the name (China) if they do not allow Asia to download.

I understand what you mind, I know some US sites will not allow, but most of them use more polite words.

BTW thanks for the rapidshare!

I always assumed China to be a special case. Being communist, I assume they restrict incoming internet content as well. Just some thoughts.

BTW, I am considering to recode PapagayoMOD to Flash (at least player v9), as it is crossplatform and all.
Is there anyone who would find it usefull, or am i wasting my time here?
(just a thought  )

I don't see any need to export video from Papagayo, in any format. I'm guessing the requester had some special use in mind, but I can't think of any. Well.....I guess if you want to make a whole head for each phoneme, you'd have a simple 'talking head' animation. :?:

Thank you verry muich for this usefull option!
Because not all users of Papayago are Anime/Cartoon-Aniamtors, it is now possible to let brickfilmers - which needs an AVI-File of the phonemes - use papayago also for they video-productions!

Thanks a lot!

But:
Why it is not possible te render the AVI directly from PApayago?
Why the way through VirtualDub?

If I try open up the .AVS in VirtialDub there comes an Error-message:

AviYynth open Failure:
Image Reader: Could not open ´file in DevIL libary
reding file in C***Papayago/mouth/2 - mouth 2/Thumbs.jpg
(c:***/test.AVS, line 13)

And in virtualDub is nothing to see than....????

Ok, the THUMB.jpg-Problem is done. There was a thumb.db, every time it´s makes himself new if you dont choose the "miniature" -fiew...

So, lets talk:
The AVI which is made with VirtualDub includes the Frames, framnumber and Phoneme-call. Why? That´s not usefull!!!
So, Is it possible to use bigger phonemes than 200 x 200pix???
Thats came along with a bigger video-size, which is needfull for good quallity for editing in original-footage. That not means that the preview-animation INSIDE of Papayago needs to be bigger. But a bigger Export-option with bigger phonemes...

Why is there no direct AVI-Export? Why it mus done with AviSynth? Is it not possible to make it "easy-to-use" by directly-avi-export?

best wishes

I like that idea. It brings back my old thinking about Flash ActiveX implementation in Anime Studio.

There is already a LuaCOM add-on

http://www.tecgraf.puc-rio.br/~rcerq/luacom/

I'm not a programer and I don't know is this manageable and what are the limitations of current add-on,

but what I imagine is possibility to "call" Papagayo inside AS and also any Flash movie clip

(For example, complex tabbed interface with anything in it).

***Updated the blog with a new build**
http://nyian.blogspot.com/

To use bigger phonemes, just create a new mouth set
(follow the instructions in the blog)
work with the one of your choice,
and just before export, change to the BIG mouth set,
save to Avisynth and convert to AVI with Virtualdib.

I don't know of any p ython lib that allows to export directly to AVIs.
"Easy-to-use"? All you do is open it in Virtualdub and "save as AVI",
it is not that hard now, is it?

Ok, at least quite cool....

But isi t may be possible to fix the preview-animation-grafics?
So one can use/create bigger Phonemes without using small pre-phonys...
This will be VERRY helpfull!!!!!

And:
Is it possible to tell the Python-Code NOT searching for a "Thumb.db"???
I think the code say something like "search everything inside the folder xxx"
So may be it is possible to make a "but NOT" the thumb.db????

Last question:
Can I upload a Video-Tutorial for making LipSync´s with Papagayo for brickfilming on www.bricktrick.de?
It will/can be in german an english...!!!???
