Possible buglet with timeline refresh

When using the Switch tool, adding a new keyframe using Active Child drop-down widget does not show a new keyframe marker in the timeline.

The keyframe does affect the animation and the workspace, and the keyframe marker shows up if the project is saved and re-opened, so it appears to be just a missing refresh problem.

Enabling and un-enabling graph mode (erm, disabling, uh, unchecking the enable checkbox) also reveals the keyframe marker.
