Before I found moho, I was floating around the net, looking for a program to do this sort of thing, and toying with the idea of making my own. One of the things that I envisioned was in the rendering process, being able to take an image and run it through an outside process, such as a gimp script.
This would be a "nice feature" in moho, where you could somehow set up a lua script to run at render, where you could kick off your own rendering step (i.e. Gimp's "oilify" or any of the Gimpressionist scripts) on each frame. I realize that it's possible to have moho render to frames, and then run your script against each frame, but I think the former way would be easier.
Just another item from me for the "wish list".
