New! 2 week challange! 1st theme = PUNK!
Hey all -
I was using ASP quite a bit a while back but it's been awhile since I've fired it up and I want to change that! I need to keep my skills sharp!
I've seen these bi-weekly challenges for other software packages and thought peeps might be interested in doing something like that here with ASP.
So there's not really any rules, there's just a theme. You draw something that relates to the theme. I figure we can also shoot for maybe a :05 - :30 animation if you're really feeling pumped up
I wanted to start things off with a theme that's got a little bit of focus and a ton of creativity, so the first theme is PUNK!
Challenge ends in two weeks, I'll just round it to Monday, July 5th... I wonder if you can incorporate any 4th of July stuff into Punk?
If you submit, the goal is for the community to comment on something they like about your work, and any suggestions for improvement. It's very important to make sure to include something positive to balance out the other feedback - we all deserve a pat on the back once and a while
So again the theme is PUNK - draw or animate anything you want - be creative, literal, figurative, ironic, or a combination of this and that!
Ready, set, PUNK!

we've tried this before but it didn't really take off... still worth another go! I'll try and find the time...
by the way - 'bi-weekly' means twice a week, what i think you mean is 'bi-monthly' (every two weeks)

That's as far as I got. I wanted to animate a baseball being thrown at him, while listening to music, the kids who threw it at him would be laughing, but then he picks it up and just whips a 90 MPH right back at em'.
WOULD HAVE BEEN EPIC!
I'll be back in August so I will continue with whatever contest is going on ( Hopefully there will be one!!)
I would love to see kids toss 90 MPH balls at him, would be funny.aleXean wrote:

Back in Middle School and High School, there were the baggiest jeans of all time - JINCO JEANS.
These kids were punks, and not like in punk rock... I'm pretty sure you could fit entire editions of Britannica in those legs...
So here's me getting back on the ASP horse again.
Was great to try out the Mandcon Arm Rig and push some points around.
