Yes, I was asking myself this question too. I saw the walk animation of the robot and it was nice, but IMO not good enough to pay money for. I think there are enough free tutorials around as alternatives.

Anyway, I have a nice link (with free advice on it):

Yes I've purchased one. They are nice. He also has some freebies here:

As well as some free info about freelance: (essentially him babbling)

The videos are really nice. I bought the character animation one, and its very well done and informative. Looking at the backgrounds one as well. Always find it interesting to see how others go about the process. Anyway free is nice too:) I think animationmeat is my fave.

Has animationmeat been taken down? I can't seem to connect to it.

If it has, does anyone have the notes that were online? I'd love to save them for reference. You can PM me if you do.

Not sure whats going on I can't access the site either. Give it some time, perhaps their host is having server issues, or they are doing a massive update.

Good news! www.animationmeat.com is back up and running. It has even more info than before, including some exercises (in particular some x-sheets and dialogue to practice lip synch!).

Very cool site.
