Random crashing

I have been experiencing random crashing since upgrading to Pro 6.
I am running vista home premium.
I can not reproduce these crashes because they happen very randomly, opening files, closing, saving, drawing, you name it.
I have no clue how to document these crashes or how to troubleshoot them, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
