1) Lip-Sync 2) Rigged Characters ready to Use in package?

Post by Will_3 »

1 - Does Anime Studio come with tools to help you Lip-Sync your voice tracks? And if not - what tools do you suggest?

2 - Are there any ready made "rigged" characters included that you can modify and use without restrictions? (Royalty Free, etc) & if not are there any "starter" characters available... already rigged with bones, etc... that we can use to modify and get into quick production for a project?

3 - Where are examples of Anime Studio Animation projects?

Thanks fo the help.

1- of course, look for PAPAGAYO. free software for lipsynch http://www.lostmarble.com/papagayo/index.shtml
mouths must be in "switch layer" (etc,O,U,L,WQ,AI,E,FV,rest)

2- Free characters are poor. You can buy male and female hands et others characters with bones and ready to use in AS. AnimeStudio Character set at
http://www.cartoonsolutions.com/store

3- You can see my work with Papagayo and characterpack at http://www.hd974.com

1. Lip Sync tools are included but, to be honest, you'd be better off creating your mouth shapes in Switch Layers then scrolling along the time line, listening to your track and manually selecting the required Switch for each sound. It's fast and more accurate.

2. It doesn't take that long to create your own characters. If you go to the Smith Micro website there are tutorials showing how easy it is. But you've done it before?
http://anime.smithmicro.com/d_tutorials.html

3. If by projects you mean examples of peoples work then there's loads on YouTube of course. Here's one of the best http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyF3JaV7bE0

Browse the Freakish Kid website too. http://freakishkid.com/

Whaww, FreakishKid is a great studio ! I suppose they don't work only on ASP ! :-)
Your website is fine too.

You're right, character-pack isn't optimized for ASP. Of course, create our own characters is better.
So male and female hands (4 and 5 fingers) libraries are really practical

I'm just a beginner in 2D animation. My real job is TV-producer-director (with real human actors !) :-)

Strangely I don't find french ASP artists ? It's a pity.
(sorry for my poor english)

There's at least one active on this forum -- Philip Cezare (not sure about spelling!) Search for 6r...
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
