import multiple images in one go

Post by JohnArtbox »

Hi,
I use Anime studio for cutout animation....and I don't use photoshop much. Because I'm often asked for swf output, I crop all of my images, and optimise as much as possible.
So the first step of any animation is importing images one by one by one by one.....you get the idea :)
Is there anyway to import a folder full of images at the same time?
Thanks
John

Hi John, nice to see you over here! *g*

If you really need to provide SWF output, bitmaps are not the best choice, and you still need Flash to produce a really optimized SWF file.

In AS 6.2 on the Mac, I can select image files in the finder and drag them into AS' layer palette all in one move. Pretty nice.

Genius... Drag and drop from Explorer works in Windows.
Photo montage is a stylistic choice, I don't have to be too worried about compression. Maybe the next project I'll go vector.
And I have Flash, I just like Anime Studio more.
Thanks heaps
