as i am creating my mouth shapes for lip synch, i lose the color fill on the inner mouth. i try copy pasting from my original, and it wont let me. i still have the correct color on my master layer that i am creating the shapes from, but when i rename the new layer accordingly, my inside mouth layer immediately goes white. i turned off auto fill, and still goes white. any ideas??

sounds like the inside mouth shape has been made into a hole on the master layer.Does it disappear on all duplicate layers?

yes. everytime i try to duplicate the master layer to make the mouth shapes it fills white and i cant change it

It needs to be fixed on the master layer. Go back to it and re-fill the mouth shape. It might look like it still has fill but apparently not if if disappears like that. Then drop it to the back if that is where it belongs.
