Hey Guys.
I've recently read the book below from cover to cover and all can say is: If you're an aspiring character animator no matter what medium of software you use, I can highly recommend this book, as a reference and guide for beginners and even the pro's out there. There's nothing move valuable the learning from an industry professional like Eric Goldberg. A simple Google search on him will show what he's done. The book offers great insight and is awesome to read. Besides "The Illusion of Life: Disney Animation" which I consider the gospel of animation. If you're serious about character animation, this book should definitely be in your collection.
I am a true believer that good quality work is 90% the animator and 10% the software, and this book really helps you out.
