if you have fonts like webdings or dingbats(there are 1000's of the available on something called the internet)etc go to "draw" then "text" then select one of your dingbat/webdings font and type the shape,character you want.quite often the layer will need to be scaled up

since moho can import text "vector" like.
wouldn't it be possible to export your ai file to a font file to get the best result?
