24 fps ... AE and Vegas

Post by anopheles »

Okay,

I just tried out to make a normal lip sync animation. In Moho everything
looks great. Exported it and:

1) Sony Vegas put everything on 24 fps
outputs (sometimes) properly

2) After Effects put also 24 fps
but no, doesn't export correct ... kind of a small lag at
the end of the movie ...

Am I setting something wrong, by both of my attempts I used
the same footage ...

please help!

This one looks reasonable simple
1: Check the moho presets - are you animating on 24 or 25, or 30.

2: Most people animation on 25 or 30, (Europe and USA respectively).

3: Vegas can be set to 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 - assuming you are working with the later ones designed to handle 1080 HDTV.

The small lag seems that moho is on 25 and the edit suites are on 24.

This should help track which package is on the wrong time signature.

Moho Preset was 24

as I said in my first post, I put everything in vegas and ae as 24
but the output in after effects is asynchrone with the sound file.
