I would love to see if they did the head turn easy
Not sure if you're subscribed to the SM mailing list, but they sent out something today with a few gif teasers. I'm curious about the bitmap drawing tools. Would creating bitmap graphics lead to better overall performance? I find the program gets a little sluggish sometimes when I use some of the textured vector brushes... What are some of the advantages of creating bitmaps vs vectors?
oh you are right! thank you! honestly I don't know why I would like to use bitmap tools... what do you think guys, are they useful for something?alanthebox wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 10:40 pmNot sure if you're subscribed to the SM mailing list, but they sent out something today with a few gif teasers. Sounds like SM has started to divest themselves of the graphics division. I anticipate MOHO 13 being the last SM release. After recouping investment and profits I suspect it too will be finding a new owner.hayasidist wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 6:12 pm
hmmm ... just seen an announcement from SM about Poser being sold ...
I haven't seen the mailout, there's nothing on SM's website or social media about that.alanthebox wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 10:40 pm

I would imagine that, for many people, drawing an element with bitmap painting can be a lot quicker than drawing them with Moho's vector tools, but currently (in Moho 12.5) it's a bit of a pain to have to jump out of Moho and switch to Photoshop (or whichever paint program you use,) and then import the bitmap back into Moho, only to discover that the art is the wrong scale or resolution, or doesn't align perfectly with other elements there.alanthebox wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 10:40 pm...I'm curious about the bitmap drawing tools.
