"update layer reference" convinences

it would be nice if there was a way to one-click or hotkey the "update layer reference" of a layer.
i almost always use "replace mismatched vectors", so i wish that could be saved as default.
so instead of the clicks of "update layer reference" > check "replace mismatched vectors" > click "ok" every time i need to do so, a one-click button in the layers panel (or a hotkey) that just immediately updates layer reference(s) with my preferred setting would save a lot of time
