Shadow Direction: Front/All Sides

Post by lazyroll »

Right now, both in Effects and Layer Settings/Shadows we can choose a direction of a shadow, but sometimes we work on particular projects where the light is "in front" and it would be nice to have a shadow facing all sides...

Some sort of an extra option like scale instead of offset would be nice, because blur without offset doesn't give the result we sometimes want.

you can get that in Layer settings for Shadows (Expansion - but limited to 30px - in conjunction with 0 offset)
but yeah - would be nice to have that "expansion" in shape shadow too!

Sadly you can't see the results instantly like with the rest of the effects, have to render it first to see. But I think it kinda works, thank you. Hopefully LM team will implement internal render as well.
