Ugh. Saccharine-sweet romanticism of the worst kind. Just listen to the music. There's one interesting part where they made some melody from car horns, nearly industrial.

Animation seems to naturally lead itself to kitschy simplicity like this, too annoying even for children. It's OK for student films, but I expect people to overcome this, or they'll end up doing My Little Pony.
