Hi Nick, thanks for reply. Thats a good idea and I suppose you could do the same but render as png sequence. I generally sometimes work up a character by adding effects in PS so thats where exporting psd and retaining the layers comes in useful. Still a bit of pain to toggle visibilty on all layers ...
Thats great that you can export layers to psd. All these years I just never realised that the layers can't be grouped or in a bone folder! - otherwise it just exports a psd with all the elements in the one layer. I always automatically shove my layers in a bone folder for organization-never thought ...

Just thought of a feature that would be nice to have in AS - an 'export layers' to photoshop option. Or even export layers to pngs. I often do drawings in Anime Studio now as Im more used to that than Illustrator. Would be nice to export as seperate elements (quickly and easily) to work up in Photos...
you know what else would be cool? an 'export layers' to photoshop option. Or even export layers to pngs. I often do drawings in Anime Studio now as Im more used to that than Illustrator. Would be nice to export as seperate elements to work up in Photoshop. Does this option already exist? (perhaps by...
Heres some examples of our work done using ASP: http://www.inkdigital.co.uk/seyret/film/wind-up-willie.html - completely done in AS http://www.inkdigital.co.uk/seyret/think/air-splaoid-3.html - web series (swf) done in AS http://www.inkdigital.co.uk/seyret/think/historic-scotland.html - low budget c...
Rudiger if you can sort that out we would bow at your feet!
That is exactly what we have wanted for some time. A 'nudge all keyframes' tool kind of like what Flash has. Amazing! I will be keeping a close eye on this one!
I guess maybe additional scripts that can access more than one layer could take care of this, maybe move a group layer and the script keeps all those child layer keyframes in unison with the group? I think there's still some misunderstanding here. (It's hard to communicate on a forum sometimes - we...
What I want to know is, does it have a "deep move" function, where you can move all the key frames of dependent layers by sliding a key on the parent? This would make it so much easier to adjust timing. Yes. The way it works is you can slide any layer side-to-side in the sequencer view of...
I second the non rendering (or even option to render?) sketch layer.
Could be vector or bitmap based. Would be fantastic for rough preliminary sketches that can be traced over.
