Hi lovely moderators,
Will anime studio be making an announcement about when it will be okay for us to upgrade our macs to the new operating system OS X Mavericks? I'm going to wait until I know it's not going to monkey with my current 9.5 animation project.
thanks
Cynthia

Thank you very much. That worked. Also, I liked your presentation in Nina Paley's class. It was very good.

how to stop cycling?
Hi,
I've created a walk cycle and moved the character to the point on the screen at frame 167. Now I want to stop the walk cycle and have the character do a new action. does anyone know how to stop the cycle?
thank you
cynthia

Re: how to fade from day to night
Hi Slowtiger, thanks so much for replying to my query so quickly. :) I rendered a half-size test movie and the fade works a charm. I do wonder though how content paradise could scrub up and down the timeline and show the fade while inside AS. I'll write him and ask. BTW, I really enjoyed looking at ...

how to fade from day to night
Hi, I watched the content paradise tutorial on fading from day to night http://youtu.be/Q5w3m-YhZEE and followed the instructions on checking the box to allow animated layer effects, and changing the opacity from 99% at 2 sec and 0% at 144 sec. But visually my opacity just jumped from 100% to 0% in ...

testing alpha transparency
I just followed Jay Versluis's instructions to the letter. Then I imported the rendered movie back into AS pro 8 over a turquoise background and Voila! it works and I’m dancing as I type. Jonbo, maybe there are advantages to each of the ways to do it, but I don't have the technical know-how to even ...

alpha transparency continued
Jonbo, thanks so much for that info and the great screenshot. After I posted my question last night I kept searching the web using different search terms and came across this fantastic blog, Jay Versluis, with a posting called How to render with Alpha Channel in Anime Studio 8. http://bit.ly/yv7yn9 ...
