Re: 2D and 3D styles and shading questions...
I don't know if I'm addressing this exactly as you described it, but I recently tried messing around with animating the gradient itself, and it worked out in a really cool way, so if your working with a light direction or source for your scene, you might want to try animating the gradient. After cre...

Re: New Animated Skit
Your caricatures are awesome, and your timing with edits and scenes really make it flow (the only scene that went by a bit too quick was the image of the chocolate ears, I had to run it back a couple of times to read what it said). If Tyson's voice was a just little higher pitched and lispy it would...

Re: My anime studio works.
On the 3rd one did you film with a green background and then animate around it in AS?
Anyway, nice work for sure.

Re: 2D and 3D styles and shading questions...
Looks really nice, if it's your style, just go with the 2D character with the 3D environment. It has it's own look that's not all that bad. I happen to use camera movements a lot, it gives a bit of a cinematic feel to a project, so why not stick with it if you can get it to work the way you want. My...

A little off topic, but how did you set up you youtube channel to automatically play your videos one after another. I'd like to use that on my channel

Re: WOOHOO First Background! Opinions???
If your getting the broken image notification in AS, it might be because the image may have been moved from the original file from where you first imported it into AS. I've done this a few times and freaked. I open a PNG or Jpeg image into the animation, and then later, I've "organized" my...

Re: ASP7 Clip I may not finish
Nice work on that hammer and the rotating near planet on the z axis. This was done in AS 7? Is it the Pro version? If it has the 3D effects that allow you all that, I gotta get Pro after I finish my next project. The rotation of the missile was spot on too.

Cohesive and brilliant,

I think that's what I like most about this forum. I check my personal preferences at the door, and just look at what people have been able to do using this software and evaluate based on that.
Great work

Re: Trailer to my lateast Project
The shorter one, well, from my impression didn't go anywhere. I wouldn't say it was confusing, it just didn't hint at anything dramatic. I commented "intriguing" in my first post because it looks like you have a story to tell that might lead to some interesting confrontations, you obviousl...

Vern, you need to move out to west coast where a December in the 80's is the norm . Fun to watch your work, and thanks for all the tips. Always appreciated.

Re: Trailer to my lateast Project
Well done, and intriguing. Perhaps the pace could have been a tad quicker, like an anime trailer on a DVD, but otherwise I think the overall feel worked. (don't be so nervous, I only joined the forum a few months back, and have learned from the amazing work others have posted here. I think it's safe...
