Re: Shifting keyframes within sub layers?
I have been woking with ASP for a few months now. In fact it's been my main animation software. Without knowing much about it I put it to work on a major project and so far I'm loving it. But as I get further into the swing of it, I do find I'm missing some 'everyday' actions. One is I really miss t...

Onion skinning between layers
When I create a Switch Layer - say one that contains different positions of the character's hand - how can I add new drawings while still seeing the previous ones? I mean like an onionskin effect, so I can add the new layer in the Switch Folder and draw using the lower (or upper) one as a reference....

Re: Modify Luminosity of layer?
Thank you Victor! I'll download and study them, but at a glance they seem to be the answer. Great!

Modify Luminosity of layer?
Is there a simple and quick way to alter the luminosity of a layer? Better yet if over time, animated. I want to bring the luminosity of a background down. So far the only way I've found is to add a solid black vector layer over it and give it a lesser degree of opacity, but I feel I'm missing somet...

Select click and drag multiple layers in Sequencer
I don't know if there's a way to do this so I'll try bidding it as a feature request... in Sequencer View it would be useful to drag more than one layer at a time. I know this can be achieved by grouping them into a folder and dragging that, but it also creates another level to think about. It would...

Assign camera to only one layer?
Hi. I see I can exclude layers from camera movement. That's useful, but let's say I want to do the opposite, that is assign the camera movement to only layer only (so I don't have to go and unassign tens of other layers). Is there a way?

"Set Layer Start Time" question
I understand that "Set Layer Start Time" will make a layer re-start from frame 0, on any given frame. But what I would need now is for the layer to start from where I am using the last pose, not the beginning. Say my character has reached a certain pose on frame 1000. I want to create a ne...

Thank you, I've not been able to check this out yet but it sounds interesting! When the same problem comes up again, I'll try it.

Re: Keeping one point still while another one moves.
Is there a way to attach a bone to a path or does that only work with layers? Because it would be handy in a case like this. While the bird circulates in the air I was having his flight become smaller and smaller simply by reducing the size of the oval path over time. Now that I've solved the string...

Re: Keeping one point still while another one moves.
Try binding the points of the end of the rope in the bird's beak to the bird and just leave the other end of the rope bound to nothing. You would have to use a control bone to move the bird around instead of moving the bird's layer. Ok, that was very good advice! :) I had gotten as far figuring out...

Keeping one point still while another one moves.
Hi, how would I accomplish the following task: imagine I have a bird flying in a circle and holding a piece of string in its beak. I want one end of the string to rotate with the bird, of course. But I want the other end to stay fixed, as if it were nailed to the ground. The string is a simple strok...

[quote="synthsin75"]Changing the layer's origin will change any animated keys if layer scale or rotation have been changed. /quote] Hi, thank you. Yes, I understand that changing the Origin will change keys. But here I'm not touching the origin. What baffles me is that the Layer moves when...

Re: Layer position changes when attaching it to a path.
On the side, one strange thing I notice in using paths is that attaching a layer to a path will work only a couple of times. Meaning that undoing will not let you redo forever. Say, you attach to the path and you don't like the way it worked. So you do Undo and try again. Still not right, so you Und...
