It does work great. I can't begin to tell you how happy this makes me. I will go ahead and explain how the pump in The Tab works just in case you'd like to add that additional functionality as well. Basically, if you click it inflates just as your tool does, but if you click and hold, the behavior i...

Thanks, Keith.

Tackling the masking learning curve was next on my agenda. This should be quite helpful.

Over the years, I've created a number of animations in Adobe Illustrator. At least, I've created the individual frames there, then converted to raster, then used a GIF animation tool to complete the task. Needless to say, the output doesn't compare with what we can do with Moho. I'd like to port the...

Scripting Challenge or the Ravings of a Mad Man?

If I have several key frames in .AI format -- each one exactly the same in number of points, etc. -- is there any way that a script could be written to sort of "batch import" them into Moho? Basically, I'd like to import the first frame as you would today, then use the point positions of t...

Incredible, Brian. It works a little different than in The Tab, but it accomplishes the same task. In fact, once I get used to it, I think I'll like yours better! Thanks a million!

I can't wait to give it a try, Brian, but the link seems to be dead.

Please advise.

I'm with Brian. The sooner the better. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just more detail on the parameters.

Export and Import Styles from one Moho file to Another

How do I Export and Import Styles from one Moho file to Another? I created all of the styles I wanted to share between project, then imported the layer from the file "styles.moho" into my current project as a moho object. I was hoping at least to be able to copy and paste the setting in th...

Swift 3D Format Import

Swift 3D converts .3DS to Illustrator and Flash format with complete animated layers, but in Swift 3D you can rotate the objects like any other 3D object. There are import plugins for Flash to support the SWFT type. It would be great to have the same for Moho. http://www.erain.com/products/swift3d/f...

What editor do you prefer for Lua scripting?

I just started toying with wxLua, and I was wondering: what editor is everyone else using?

I too wish you could use some compiled format. :)

Every time I double-click your Help, Dreamweaver launches. I don't want to change my HTML default, so I am stuck with remembering to right-click.

"Maybe you can describe better. The Pump I think I get, and if you are looking for something like the Line Width tool, but that goes by proximity of the cursor to a point instead of the points already selected, I don't think that should be too hard. I'd like it too. But, never having used the T...

Stupid Newbie Scripting Question

"I'm sure this the answer to this question is obvious, and I will appear to be a moron for asking, but exactly what scripting language is used to create plug-ins for Moho?" I wrote the above before I read the sticky and found that it was Lua. Can someone direct me to some Moho-specific Lua...

More about the Tab Tools and the importance of Pump and Iron

The following is from a review of Tab. Personally, I think once you get spoiled by having the pump around, it is hard to live without. The iron is just a qicker way to straighten scanned images. If you draw directly in Moho all the time, you would not understand the purpose of such a tool. From the ...
