You sir, are a veritable god amongst us. Do you walk upon water? Do you on occasion animate that water into wine? Humbly our worship we offer to you, should you wish it. Should you need it. Yeah verily, we do offer it.
Rinsing it through 12.5 has recovered the file. Thank you, synthsin75!

Moho 13 corrupt file
Mac OS X - Moho 13.0.0.0, build 545 - 64 bit So we hired an awesome graphic artist and upgraded to Moho 13. She was working on creating a new character rig with no imported graphics, just vector art created within Moho. Everything was going great, but then moho crashed (details below) and we got the...

Slowtiger, was "Broken Down Film" created in moho? Lovely style.

Scareplane is a lovely short. I laughed out loud and made my wife watch it. With that kind of talent, my gratitude for all the time you spend helping us mere mortals improve our craft is redoubled. Thanks for all you do.

Re: Get my file back? (json error)
I had exactly this happen to me today as well. Because it's never happened I ignored the autorecover file (so it's gone forever), and that's when I discovered the file was completely gone. I saw in an earlier post that the Moho devs are working on keeping autorecover files around longer - anybody kn...

Re: back to basics in point vector construction
Going back to the original question, Zoesan - have you tried rendering it? When you hide a (visible) line, there is still a pseudo-line rendered to show the connection and points. It shows up when you're animating, but isn't rendered. Is it possible that's what you're seeing? (Definitely wouldn't di...

Re: Reference layers and coordinate frame of reference
First, it's best practice to avoid layer transforms when creating assets. If at all possible, save layer transforms for animation, especially for groups. ... You can't do ANY layer transformations (translate, scale, rotate, skew, x/y rotate, etc.) on any of the parent layers. Ok, sorry for being ob...

Re: Arc-Solver Madness?
Ah, right. That makes sense, thanks. The idea of bone groups was the totally awesome idea I totally came up with all by myself that nobody else has ever thought of (that the devs are already aware of and hopefully working on. )

Re: Reference layers and coordinate frame of reference
That solves the part of the problem I'd already kinda figured out. The real problem is that when I put the reference layer into the bone layer, the coordinate system changes. So for example I drew a random vector shape, created and dragged the reference layer into the character rig, and the shape in...

Reference layers and coordinate frame of reference
So I have two characters passing a basketball to one another. The ball has to exist between the hands of each character, and has to fly between them (and others). So based on earlier teachings from the Moho Jedis on this forum, I know that I'll need to create a basketball, then a couple reference la...

Fair point. I've just had some trouble finding the magic point, and decided it was less work to add the smart bone.

Sorry for the delay reading this - was traveling this week.
Why do you prefer Shy Bones to just hiding the bones you don't want the animators to play with?
